Hawzah News Agency – Hojjat al-Eslam Mahdavipour, the representative of the Supreme Leader in India, sent a message of condolences on the death of Haji Mohib Ali Roshanali Nasser, the financial representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani in Mumbai.

The text of the message is as follows:

In the Name of Allah,

the All-beneficent, the All-merciful

The news of the heavenly departure of the great personality Janab Mohib Ali Roshanali Nasser has deeply grieved us. Marhum during his lifetime rendered great services to the Shias in Mumbai and played a key role in assisting the Deeni Madrasas in India as the financial representative of the Grand Marjah Ayatullah al-Uzma Syed Ali Sistani. He was greatly trusted by the Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat in Mumbai and was one of the distinguished and leading figures of the Khoja Shia Isna Asheri Jamaats in India. He played a key role in safeguarding the unity, proximity, and solidarity among the Shias.

He was an ardent supporter of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and was a great admirer of the Supreme Leader of Iran and Grand Marjah Ayatullah al-Uzma Khamenei. I was greatly impressed by his love and affection towards me and I always used to avail of his advice and had a mutual understanding with him. He as the Chairman of the Alimaan Charitable Trust situated at Najafi House in Mumbai endeavored for providing great services throughout India in particular to the poor and deprived people and established a network of Masajid, Husainiyah, and Deeni Madrasas. He was the Chairman of the Trust of the Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Jameh Masjid in Mumbai. He invited me on many occasions to address the Shias. He was a loving father and a very affectionate and worthy friend.

I express my deepest and heartfelt condolences on the heavenly departure of this great person to all the Shias in particular to all the Khoja Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaats and his grieved family and in particular to his very talented and respected son Janab Muhammad Ali Nasser.

I pray to Almighty Allah to grant everlasting peace to the departed soul and reverend Marhum be mustered with the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) and the Infallible Imams (A.S.) and obtain the divine favors and blessings. I also pray that Almighty Allah grants patience, endurance, and blessings to all his family members.
